Success of Asian Games has helped India earn biggest ever presence in Continental Cup where they represent team of Asia Pacific. IAAF Continental Cup, renamed in 2010 from the IAAF World Cup, was reduced to four Continents (Africa, Asia/Pacific, Europe and the Americas). While Tintu Luka represented in 2010 and 2014 in Women’s 800 metres, Renjith Maheswary represented in 2014 in Triple Jump. In 2018, 6 Indians are representing in 7 Field and Track events of Continental Cup 2018 being held on Sept 8 and 9 at Ostrava, Czech Republic. Asia in IAAF World Cup and Asia Pacific in Continental Cup has mostly finished at bottom. After Day 1 now, its leading Africa.
