4. Tendulkar hit his 48th century and 5th double century scoring 203 runs.

11. Ojha and Ishant have now broken their own record set it Galle for maximum balls faced by Nos. 10 and 11. They faced 173 deliveries to add 39 runs for the 10th wicket.
12. All the four main Indian bowlers conceded 100 plus runs. Ishant, Mithun, Harbhajan and Pragyan conceded 100 plus runs in the SL first inning.
