Hyderabad, India: Tejaswini is the new golden girl of Indian sports. Besides winning several golds at international and national meet, she has won the 2010 Munich World Championships Gold in 50-metre rifle prone.

The shooter from Kolhapur won 5 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 5 bronze medals at the Indian national championships. Her achievement helped her seize Commonwealth Games 2006 spot ahead of Angali Ved Pathak Bhagwat, Asian Games gold medallist, and Suma Shirur, then World record holder. Since then she has never looked back and done her country proud.
