Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament: India lose 5th Game to Pakistan

Playing 11th game against Pakistan in Azlan Shah Hockey tournament, India lost its 5th game to Pakistan. Now in 2011 edition India is placed on 4th position.

India and Pakistan played 11th match on 11 May, 2011 at Azlan Shah tournament. Playing their 5th group match of the edition, both teams started the game with the flavor of traditional rivalry. While the first half saw India dominating, second half completely belonged to Pakistan. India could score just one goal throguh Rupinder Pal Singh, the highest goal scorer of the tournament, even while dominating in first half. Pakistan scored three goals in second half to seal the victory.

The highest goal scorer of the tournmanet Rupinder Pal Singh was the lone scorer for India, while Pakistani scored the three goals through Muhd Umar Bhutta, Pakistani captain Muhammad Imran and drag flicker Sohail Abbas.
