Australia continued complete dominance of Indian Men’s Hockey team registering another huge victory. At Burnbury, in the second leg of the tri-series, Australia blanked India 5-0.
Australia started the game with usual aggression and India with usual defensive approach. The first half break saw Australia leading 4-0. In the second half, Indian men grouped together strongly but could not score any goal. The consolation for them was conceding just one goal in the second half.
The Olympic record winner India had again no answers to the onslaught against current hockey leader, Australia. The match was a repeat of India’s loss in the opener against Australia in terms of defeat margin.
The final scoreline read 5-0 in favor of Australia.
