Despite Kohli’s maiden ton, on Day 3 India were trailing by 382 runs with Australia scoring 50/3 at stumps. At day 4 Stumps India had 4 wickets remaining to save the day or chase remaining 334 runs to avoid 2nd consecutive whitewash.
