South African Performance in T20 World Cups

South Africa has one of the strongest record in the T20 World Cups, yet semifinals in 2009 is their best finish. They have won 14 and lost 7 only in their 21 matches. With just one loss in Super Eight have forced them out of Super Eight in 2007 and 2010. Even in 2009 their only loss was in semifinal. 2012 was a disaster for them when they lost all matches in Super Eight. Check their complete performance in T20 World Cups.

Won both the Group A matches, lost only one match in Super Eight and failed to qualify for semifinals. Played England, New Zealand and India in the Super Eight.

2009
Won all the Group D matches, and Super Eight matches but lost to Pakistan in semifinal.
