1978 Football World Cup: Argentina Gives New Champ, Dutch Lose Again

In 11th FIFA World Cup, Argentina became 5th host nation, and also the fifth nation to win the Football World Cup. Held between 1-25th June at 6 venues of Argentina. Past champions Uruguay and England failed to qualify. Even the final was between two teams that has never won the Cup, while the champions played for the third place.
