The team with most semifinals in the World Cup, Germany has played the World Cup on all but twp occasions, the inaugural edition of 1930 Football World Cup and then the 1950 FIFA World Cup when due to the effect of second World War it was barred. It bounced in style when it’s young team shocked all winning the trophy at Switzerland in 1954, and since then it is just the King of Soccer, Brazil which have an edge over them in records at the FIFA World Cup.
