Malaysian Open 2015: Indian Men Fail To Cross Chinese Wall, Saina the Lone Indian in Quarters

April 2 is the first day officially of Saina Nehwal being ranked No. 1 in the BWF Ranking. She celebrated her first day as World No. 1 of Women’s Singles by taking revenge of her last year defeat at the same tournament. Malaysian Open had 5 matches involving Indians today. All the 4 Singles player were facing the Chinese Wall, while Ashwini Ponnappa and Jwala Gutta played Indonesian pair in the Women’s Doubles 2nd round.     P Kashyap lost to top seed Long Chen (China) 21-10 21-6 in 35 minutes.
    HS Prannoy lost to 5th seed Lin Dan (China) 21-15 21-14 in 52 minutes.

Saina Nehwal will play another chinese, Sun Yu in the quarterfinal tomorrow. Both have played thrice. Sun Yu won their first match at China Open, but after that Saina has won twice.
