Bangladesh is no more just a lowly ranked team. It is the tiger which has already swallowed many big teams, including India. Today, it almost achieved that in India too that too in World Cup. But, as they were just 2 runs away almost ready to celebrate their another knockout of India in World Cup tournament, first Pandya came Hard on them and then Dhoni did an unbelievable Usain Bolt to seal India’s place in the virtual quarterfinals against Australia. For the first time India managed to defend a total below 150 runs and in the process also became the first country to win twice with the narrowest margin of 1 run in T20 World Cups.

Indian Batsmen Fail, Score Onlyy 146/7
On a batting track, Indian strong batting line up failed again as Kohli could score just 24 runs and rest of the team just somehow managed to score 146/7 in 20 overs. Rohit (18), Dhawan (23), Yuvraj (3), Hardik (15), Dhoni (13*) and Jadeja (12) failed to lift the run rate as Raina with 23-ball 30 runs finished their highest run scorer. They did not succumb as they did against Kiwis, but all struggled and found difficult to score.
Captain Mortaza with 0/22 led the team from front with assistance from Shakib (1/23). Mustafizue (2/34), Shuvagata (1/24 in 3 overs), Al-Amin (2/37) kept attacking and the fielding was electric to support their effort.
Bangladesh Failed to Make 2 runs from last 3 balls
Return of Tamim Iqbal boosted their batting and with 35 runs he did take them to comfortable start. But Mithun (1), Sabbir (26), Shakib (22) and Mortaza (6) fell to spin. Mahmudullah (18) and SOumya Sarkar (21) added valuable 26 runs for 6th wicket and Mushfiqur (11) with 2 boundaries got them to the door of victory.
In the last over they needed just 11 runs. They got 9 of them in first 3 balls. But discussions from team and Dhoni helped Hardik held his nerve. The next 2 balls saw him grabbing both set batsmen, Mushfiqur and Mahmudullah. On the last ball Shuvagata and Mustafizur just needed a run for a tie and two to win.
Shuvagata could not connect to the bouncer, and the bowling sensation Mustafizur could not run faster than the “Usain Bolt” Dhoni who grabbed the ball behind the wicket and ran as fast as he could to get him run out.
Ashwin (2/20) duly got Player of the Match award as he got India back into game twice with wickets of Tamim and Shakib. Nehra (1/29), Bumrah (0/32), Jadeja (2/22), Pandya (2/29) and Raina (1/9) all played key role in increasing the pressure on smoothly sailing Bangladeshis.
In the end Bangladesh was knocked out of the tournament, joining Afghanistan who had lost the first match of the day to England. India now has set a virtual quarterfinal against Australia where they must win to enter their third T20 World Cup semifinals.
