
Playing her second consecutive tournament after Rio 2016 Silver performance, PV Sindhu reached the second round of French Open 2016. Last week her return to court was cut short in the second round only when she lost 21-13 21-23 21-18 to Sayaka Sato of Japan. HS Prannoy entered 2nd round of French Open for the the second consecutive time after 2015.
History of French Open and Indian Performances
After the disastrous Denmark Open 2016 in the last week where with Sindhu even Ajay Jayaram and HS Prannoy lost in the second round of Denmark Open as no Indian could reach the third round, Indians are looking for a better performance at French Open 2016.
Today HS Prannoy and PV Sindhu have entered the 2nd round, while Ajay Jayaram and Sai Praneeth lost in the 1st round.

Tomorrow in 2nd round, PV Sindhu will take on Bingjiao He from China, while HS Prannoy will take on 5th seed Tien Chen Chou from Chinese Taipei.
Prannoy has lost both the previous matches against Tien Chen, once in Korea Open 2015 and before that in Swiss Open 2013.
Sindhu has lost thrice and won twice against Bingjiao. They are meeting for the 5th time in 2016.
