World Badminton Championship: Indian Men’s Singles Record in All Editions

Men’s Singles is the only event in which India has participated in all tthe 23 editions of World Badminton Championships starting from 1977 till 2017 Glasgow Championship. The baton has passed from Prakash Padukone, Syed Modi, Vimal Kumar, Gopichand, Chetan Anand to current Indian leading players. But, only Prakash Padukone has earned the chance to stand on medal podium after winning Bronze in 1983. Overall 26 Indians have reached only 8 Quarterfinals and 1 semifinals.
