French Open Badminton: Indian Record of Maximum Titles in a Super Series

French Open is the Super Series where Indians have won maximum 7 titles. At French Open, Indians won their first Super Series and that too in Men’s Doubles in 1956. Vimal Kumar has won twice while Bahree won the first Super Series title for India here only in 1956. While India’s most successful shuttler, Saina Nehwal has finished Runners up in 2012, Kidambi Srikanth won the title in 2017.

The French Open Badminton is held since 1909 by the Fédération Française de Badminton (FFBa), with breaks between 1915-1934, and in 1965, 1970, 1972, 1994 and 2006. In 2007 it was promoted to BWF Super Series making it one of the 12 major badminton tournaments in the World. It is held at Pierre de Coubertin Stadium.
