On last day Indians won more Silver than Gold, but overall India has the best finish abroad in a major game winning more Gold medals as compared to Silver and Bronze. 26 Gold, 20 Silver and 20 Bronze saw India finishing third at Commonwealth Games with 66 medals where in many Sports Indian squad signed off as leaders. On final day, Indians won one Gold, 4 Silver and two Bronze medal.

Badminton
Indians finished on top of the Badminton Medal tally. On Final Day, Saina Nehwal won her second Commonwealth Gold medal adding to her 2010 CWG Gold. PV Sindhu, who won Bronze in 2014, earned Silver now.
Srikanth Kidambi sufferred an upset against Lee Chong Wei, whom he defeated in the Mixed Team event and settled for Silver.
The young guns Satwik and Chirag settled for Silver too in Men’s Doubles final.
Table Tennis
With 3 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze medals, Indians finish on top ahead of leaders Singapore and England in the Commonwealth Games 2018 Table Tennis that saw 160 paddlers from 35 nations participating. Achanta Sharath won Bronze in Men’s Singles while all Indian Bronze contest in Mixed Doubles saw Manika Batra and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran grabbing the medal.
Squash
Indian Squash team won second silver as Women’s Doubles team lost the final.
