
From 1962, when Badminton started at Asian Games despite continuous participation Indians have never entered a Final of any of the 5 event in the last 14 editions. Among 12 countries that have won medals, India is ranked 9th with 1 Silver and 9 Bronze medals as top 8 teams have won at least Gold medal each. While PV Sindhu is the only Silver medal winner from India, Saina and Syed Modi are other two to have won medals in Singles event till, Leroy Francis D’Sa is the most successful Indian shuttler with most medals (4 Bronze) winning medals in Men’s and Mixed Doubles as well as Team event.
