Indian swimmers have been participating at Asian Games from the inaugural edition of 1951. Indians won one gold, one silver and four Bronze medal at 1951 Asian Games. But, after that they had to wait till 1986 for next medal. Again, after that they had to wait till 2010 to win another medals in Swimming at Asian Games.
