Indians have won maximum medals in 400m event of Athletics. They have 5 instances of 2 medals in same event in their run to 6 Gold, 11 Silver and 8 Bronze medals in Men’s and Women’s 400m events Starting 1951 Asian Games with 2 medals in Bronze and finishing 2018 Asian Games with Silver medals in both category, they won first Gold medal in Women’s event in 1970 Asian Games, while Milkha Singh is the only one to have won two Gold medals.
