Asian Games: Indian Medal Winners in 5000m

Indians have won 2 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze medals in Men’s and Women’s 5000m event. India started with Men’s 5000m Silver in 1951 and won a Gold in 1974 Asian Games. While Men won their last medal in 1982 Asian Games, Women won their first medal in 1994 Asian Games. Sunita Rani is the only Indina athlete to have won two medals in 5000m event.
