History

Against Pune Warriors also they sighted victory, but failed to hold Pune Warriors lower middle order and lost the match with an over to spare.
Who Will Win!
Certainly Mumbai Indians, unless someone in Kochi does a Valthaty. Remember when the odds were completely down Kings XI surprised Chennai Super Kings. If Kochi want any hope of knockout, it is almost a must-win match for them.

Sachin/Rayudu vs Kochi Bowlers
Mumbai Indian batsmen Sachin and Rayudu have not yet allowed opponents to test their middle order, as they have finished the games on their own. Without some good performance from Kochi Bowlers, including Sreesanth and Muralitharan Kochi cannot dream to win against this good batting side.
Malinga vs Kochi Top Order
Malinga has created panic among the opponents now, by two successful performances in two matches. Brendum McCullum, Laxman and others must tackle Malinga, if they want to have any chance to taste victory.
Other Key Players
Jadeja and Hodge are promising some good cricket with their last two performances. Against Mumbai Indians, one of them is sure to get in peak form. But, would that be enough!!
Pollard Blast
If Kochi can somehow take the battle to the middle order, Pollard may have a feast. But would his batting chance come!!
