The South African all-rounder playing for Kolkata Knight Riders is not only among the highest run-scorer (2nd best) but also jointly leads the fielding chart with 4 catches (shared with Botha). He has scored 107 runs and taken 4 catches. He is the only player to have scored half-centuries in both innings.

Botha and Sachin: Who Will take their wicket first!!
The South African all-rounder Botha has been more successful with bat. Coming at number 3 he has played two unbeaten innings, guiding his team to victory with one half century. Botha also jointly leads the fielding chart with 4 catches in 2 matches. Sachin Tendulkar, the captain of Mumbai Indians have also reached the 100 mark remaining undefeated. Rayudu for MI and Venugopal Rao for DD have been consistent performers in last two matches. Both have been among the runs. Venugopal has been the highest run scorer for his team in both their losses. Rayudu is a revelation now, scoring fluently against spin and fast both.

Bowling

    Parnell, S Bagh and Thomas of PWI, Abdullah of KKR, Warne, Amit Singh and Siddharth Trivedi of RR, Praveen Kumar of KXIP in initial spell have been a treat to watch. They have foxed the batsmen, and the consistent performance assures further good shows.

Batting
