Indian Batsmen
India has seen 3 centuries scored against them at this venue. English opener Dennis Amiss scored 137 in 1975 match and won man of the match award. Trescothick (109) and captain Nasser Hussain (115) scored centuries in the same innings in 2002 NatWest Series Final in the losing cause. But Indian players have not scored any century so far on this venue.

    Captain Ganguly’s 90 is the highest Indian score here. The innings played in a winnign cause in 2004 won him Man of the Match.
    Kaif’s historical 87 not out is the second highest Indian score that not only won him the Man of the match in 2002 NatWest Series Final, but also earned India a record-breaking victory in ODI.
    Dravid has scored 73* (2002 Series), 5 (2002 Final), 52 (2004) and a duck (2007).
    Dhoni has scored 50 (2007) here in his only innings played at Lord’s in ODI.

Century Partnerships
Against India, at Lord’s there has been three 100-plus partnerships, all by England. The biggest partnership is of 185 runs between Trescothick and Nasser Hussain in the 2002 NatWest Series Final. Another big partnership was of 176 runs between Amiss and Fletcher for the second wicket in 1975 World Cup. Undefeated 114 run 3rd wicket partnership between Pietersen and captain Collingwood led to India’s second loss at Lord’s in 2007.
