After seeing the first game of the day washed out between Somerset and South Australia, Warriors had an easy task to win and reach the semifinal, as Group A leader Mumbai Indians had yesterday. But rain could not help, as KKR emerged winner by 22 runs by D/L method when play was suspended after 9 overs of KKR chase. KKR finished their last group match with second position in the group, but other contenders have more games left and only dramatic results with RCBs wins can ensure KKRs entry in semifinals.
