    Top seed and defending Women’s Singles champion Li Xuerui lost 21-18, 21-18 to Korean Ju Yeon Bae,
    2009 champion Wang Yihan (3rd seed) lost to Lindaweni Fanteri of Indonesia 21-12, 21-19.
    In Men’s Doubles the top seeds withdrew,
    Korean third seeds lost to German pair,
    Chinese 5th seeds also lost.
    In Men’s Singles Du Pengyu, the Chinese third seed lost to Malaysian Tan Chun Seang.
