Malaysian Masters: Top seed Saina Sails into Semis, 6th seed Jayaram Surrenders Against Unseeded

The huge squad was left with only two in the quarterfinals of Malaysian Masters Challenge after exit of doubles teams yesterday. With two steps away from the title, the number further reduced to one, but Indians would not mind as she is India’s best hope for any title anywhere even now, and India is eying third title in this tournament. Saina Nehwal reached first semifinal of a tournament after returning from her injury, while Ajay Jayaram failed against Ginting. Saina will play 5th seed Pui Yin of Hong Kong against whom she leads by a good margin in eight career meets.
