U-19 Indian cricket team sweep England series

Indian Under-19 Men’s team achieved a rare feat during the same time when Senior Men’s Cricket team created history in Sri Lanka with 3-0 test series clean sweep. Junior Men’s team played two test matches and 5 ODIs winning all of them. England were blanked 0-2 in Test series and 0-5 in ODI series at home. What a rare achievement!

    In Test matches Shubman Gill and Manjot Kalra scored a century each, while RP Das and PP Shaw scored 3 half-centuries eac.PP Shaw was the only batsman from both sides to aggregate 200+ runs in 2 test matches. He added 250 runs in 4 innings. Nagarkoti with With 14 and Shivam Mavi with 10 wickets were most successful bowlers. Nagarkoti with 10/112 in one test was the only bowler to have grabbed 5-wicket hauls.

    278 runs with a century and half-century in 4 innings made Shubman Gill the only batsman from both teams to aggregate 200+ runs. PP Shaw (160) and SF Khan (115) were other Indians to aggregate 100+ runs during the series. 10 wickets each made AS Roy and Chahar the most successful bowlers. Shiva Singh (5/38) provided the only five-for occasion of series.
