Hong Kong Open 2017: Repeat of China Open as Only Saina, Sindhu and Prannoy Enter Round 2

In a repeat of last week’s China Open Round 1 results, today at Hong Kong Open only Saina Nehwal, Sindh and HS Prannoy entered Round 2. Among the Indian contingent, all the doubles team with Sai Praneeth and Sourabh Verma were knocked out. In Round 2 on Thursday, Saina is set to meet 8th seed Chinese for the first time, while Sindhu leads her opponent 2-0 and Prannoy trails his unseeded opponent 0-2.
