Women’s Youth World Championships 2017: 3 Indians in Final, 3 More to Play Semis

The Women’s Youth World Boxing Championship 2017 being held at Guwahati saw 7 Indians in semifinals. Today, in the first round of semifinals today, out of 5 events Indians played for a place in finals in 4 events and 3 Indians reached the finals. Jyoti, Shashi and Ankushita reached the final while Neha had to settle for Bronze. Tomorrow in second round of semifinals, three more Indians will participate for a place in finals.     Women’s Heavyweight (+81kg) Neha Yadav lost vs Kazakhstan’s Dina Islambekova.
